General Information
The Costa Del Sol still remains the number one destination for UK tourists. When you visit the Costa you can understand why. The coast has something to offer everyone, be you a golfer, swimmer, walker or historian there is always something of interest and if you don't speak the language then the locals will.
You can choose to visit the 'True Spain' by leaving the sandy beaches behind and visiting the older towns of Ojen, Sabinillas and Ronda to name just three. Here you will feel that you have gone back in time. You will find traditional Spanish cuisine and a pace of life you will probably not have experienced before.
If you prefer not to venture out, then our swimming pool is available for use throughout the year, however, the best time is between the end of May and late September, when the suns rays have warmed the pool to a pleasant temperature.
If you don't like the weather too hot then early September is a fantastic time to visit the Costa Del Sol. The weather is sunny and the sunsets beautiful, without the blazing heat of July and August.
The hottest month in Spain is August with June and July a close second but the weather throughout the year is always pleasent. With over 320 days of recorded sunshine a year it is rare not to get some sunshine during a weeks stay at any time of year.
As a family we have lived on the coast for the last ten years, and therefore can give advise and guidance on many subjects and areas. Some of which are listed below.
Dining out: There are literally hundreds of restaurants to choose from in the area, but which are value for money? Want to eat cheap? Want fine dining, but don't want to pay fine dining prices for standard cuisine? Want to eat very Spanish? Special occasion? We can't list all the restaurants for all the different occasions but we can point you in the right direction during your stay. Having said that all tastes differ, and who knows if its the chef's night off!!
Where to visit? Depends on the time of year and what you are looking for. We can always come up with a few suggestions.
Buying a property in Spain and just researching the area? Well we can make suggestions on that too. Which areas to consider. Is it just for holidays or a full time residence? Who to buy from or through? Maybe we can point you in the right direction. The Costa Del Sol is now the home of the largest ex-pat community in the world.
Looking for other places to stay on the coast? Again we can probably give you a few ideas.
